It’s useful to be able to add or “merge” other documents into your PDF quotes, orders, invoices, letters… within the same PDF, in addition to those added automatically like your terms and conditions.
In your ERP CRM, this new feature supports both PDF formats and images. Note that for images, automatic processing handles layout and formatting with no presentation options available.

Automatically merge the same documents every time
The method above adds a document to one record. You can also set a document to accompany all records of the same type: every quote you send, or every invoice, without having to think about it each time.
Configure this in the Cloud module settings, under Automatic merging. The screen shows you, for each document type, the folder to use and the files already in it:
Documents & Templates → templates → PDF merging → Quote merging
Drop a PDF here: it’s appended to every quote you generate. A folder exists for each record type — quote, customer order, invoice, supplier quote, supplier order, supplier invoice, service contract, shipment.
The folder defines the rule. A file in Quote merging and nothing in Invoice merging: your quotes include the document, your invoices don’t. No further setup is needed.
If you work in multiple languages
Add the language code to the filename, following the same rule as your terms and conditions:
- TC_en_GB.pdf — added to documents in English
- TC_fr_FR.pdf — added to documents in French
- Brochure.pdf — no language suffix: added to all documents
Each customer receives the version matching their document’s language.
What if a version is missing? You sell in English but only have the French file: DoliPlus attaches the version in your installation’s default language rather than sending nothing. Your customer gets a complete document, and you add the translation when you can.
The choice is file by file. If your folder contains TC_en_GB.pdf but not PriceList_en_GB.pdf, an English quote goes out with English terms and a French price list.
