The customer reference in statistics allows you to find an order using your customer’s reference number, not yours. DoliPlus now displays it in several order statistics queries.

Customer references in order statistics

Customers often identify orders by their own reference: a purchase order number, project code, or buying reference. Meanwhile, DoliPlus assigns its own numbering system. These two identifiers don’t always match.

That’s why the “Customer Ref.” field has been added to queries 110, 111, 150, 155 and 190 for customer orders. This lets you link each order to the reference known by your contact, directly within your statistics.

Why display customer references?

Without this information, tracking down an order from a customer call becomes time-consuming. Your customer quotes their reference, not yours. Including customer references in statistics solves this mismatch.

You benefit in three key ways:

  • Faster searches: filter orders by your customer’s reference
  • Smoother communication: speak the same language as your contact
  • Reliable tracking: every order maintains its link to the original request

As a result, your customer interactions become more fluid and your analysis more actionable. Learn more about customer orders

Using customer references in your analysis

These statistical queries help track commercial activity: order volumes, work in progress, customer history. By adding customer references, DoliPlus connects each line to an identifier your contact recognises.

When a customer calls about “their” order, you find it immediately. Moreover, your exports retain this information. You can cross-reference your data with customers’ records without translating between numbering systems.
