Migrating your Outlook email account to Google lets you access all your old emails in DoliPlus’ messaging system, which runs on Google services. This way, you can switch tools without losing your history.
Why migrate your Outlook account to Google?
When you adopt DoliPlus’ email system, your messages and contacts may still be in Outlook. Naturally, you don’t want to start from an empty inbox. The migration transfers all your messages to Google’s servers.

How to migrate your Outlook account to Google
Google offers two approaches depending on your situation. In both cases, the operation copies your messages to the Google account without affecting the original Outlook mailbox.
The simplest method: Gmail’s built-in import. From your destination Google account, go to Settings → See all settings → Accounts and Import, then click Import mail and contacts. Enter your Outlook/Microsoft email address and password: Gmail connects via POP3 and retrieves your old emails (and contacts).
For large volumes or business accounts: Google provides the official Google Workspace Migration for Microsoft Outlook tool (GWMMO, formerly “Google Apps Migration”), which installs on Windows and imports emails, calendar and contacts from Outlook or a PST file.
The general process remains similar:
- Connect the Google account that will receive the messages
- Specify the Outlook/Microsoft mailbox to transfer
- Start the transfer and let the copying happen in the background
