PrestaShop 9 connector: your shop and your back office finally in sync
The PrestaShop 9 connector links your online shop to your DoliPlus management software, so nothing has to be typed twice. In practice, it brings you:
- orders that land in your back office on their own, customer and invoice included;
- stock levels that match on both sides, all day long;
- product sheets, variants, photos and prices published from a single place;
- weight-based selling handled properly, with the right price for every piece;
- a clear answer for every message your shop sends.
In short, your shop and your accounts finally tell the same story — and your evenings stop being spent on re-typing. DoliPlus is the enhanced cloud edition of Dolibarr, so you keep an open, well-known foundation underneath.
Why connect your online shop to your management software
Without a link, every order received on your website has to be copied by hand into your software. Moreover, the stock shown online quickly drifts away from what actually sits on your shelves. Consequently, you either oversell items you no longer have, or you hold back stock you could have sold.
Therefore, a connected shop is not a comfort feature. It is what keeps your catalogue, your stock and your accounts telling the same story.

What the connector keeps in sync automatically
Products and catalogue
First, your product sheets travel from DoliPlus to the shop: name, description, price, photos and categories. In addition, variants such as size, colour or format follow along, which matters a great deal in retail.
Stock in real time
Next, every goods receipt, sale or shipment adjusts the quantity displayed online. As a result, a customer never orders an item you cannot ship.
Orders and customers
Finally, each online order comes down into DoliPlus with its customer, its addresses, its invoice and its payment. Your bookkeeping therefore stays complete without a single re-entry.
The label you give each address in your shop (“Home”, “North warehouse”, “City centre store”…) travels with it. It lands on the DoliPlus contact record and can be shown as an “Alias adresse (Prestashop)” column in your contacts and addresses list, so you tell one address from another at a glance. That label follows whichever route the address takes: it comes across with an imported order just as it does with a customer synchronisation, so the column fills up as you sell.
Selling by weight: the right price, worked out for you
Butchers, cheesemongers, fishmongers and fine grocers all share one problem: no two pieces ever weigh the same. Selling online then becomes awkward, because the price depends on the actual weight picked in the shop.
Accordingly, the connector publishes a theoretical average weight and recalculates it as your batches change. Your customer therefore sees a price that reflects reality, and your margin stays where you set it.
Installing the PrestaShop 9 connector on your shop
Setting up the PrestaShop 9 connector happens in two stages: first on the DoliPlus side, then on the shop side. Your webmaster will find it straightforward.
On the DoliPlus side
- First, generate the token and the signing key, then save.
- Next, declare your shop: start from the suggested template, then replace the values with your own (site address, warehouse, price level).
- Finally, choose what you want to synchronise: products, stock, customers, orders, invoices.
On the PrestaShop side
- Download the module supplied in the DoliPlus settings, install it on PrestaShop 9, then clear the shop cache.
- Copy the token and the signing key into the module settings on the shop side.
- Then enable the PrestaShop web service and create an access key covering products, customers, orders and categories.
- Lastly, test the connection. A “rights validated” page confirms that both tools are talking to each other.

Every message from your shop gets a clear answer
Your shop talks to your back office continuously: an order confirmed, a status changed, a basket updated. Each of those messages now receives an explicit answer, so you always know what was actually taken in.
- Shop recognised: the order enters DoliPlus and follows its normal course.
- Unexpected shop identifier: the message is flagged straight away, together with the value received and the ones your installation expects.
- Your webmaster therefore sees in a single line what needs fixing, instead of hunting for it.
Bringing your existing PrestaShop data across
Is your shop already running, with products, customers and orders in it? The connector pulls that history into DoliPlus in one go, at start-up. Consequently, you begin with a complete catalogue instead of re-keying it.
Prices, discounts and eco-participation follow the same route. You set your prices in one place; if you use several price levels, one setting simply designates the one to publish online.
Orders, invoices and delivery notes
Every online order comes down with its customer, its billing and delivery addresses, its invoice and its payment. Furthermore, delivery notes and back-orders are handled together: an order mixing an in-stock item with an item to be ordered splits on its own, so your customer receives what is ready without waiting for the rest.
Amend a supplier order while your shop keeps selling
A supplier order that is already confirmed sometimes needs a change: one line to add, one quantity to adjust after a call from your supplier. To reopen it, DoliPlus briefly returns it to draft.
Meanwhile, the quantities expected from that order step out of the figure sent to your shop. Therefore, the screen now tells you so before you confirm, and it leaves the decision to you: a tick box “keep the stock published to the shop during the modification” holds the displayed quantities while you make your correction.
You choose case by case. For a two-minute fix, tick the box and your visitors carry on ordering as usual. For a deeper change, leave it clear, and the shop follows the new contents of the order straight away.
Several shops, several companies
Do you run more than one shop? Declare them in DoliPlus, then tell them apart with a short code. A drop-down list lets you switch from one to another, and each shop keeps its own warehouse, price level and settings.
Built for PrestaShop 9.1, and made to last
This generation supports PrestaShop 9.1, the latest release of the e-commerce platform. Moreover, it carries over every function of the previous versions and hardens them. Your shop stays hosted wherever you want it, and the exchanges are protected by keys that only you and your installation share.
